Know that a bigger bike handles quite a bit differently from the Savage. It's heavier and the steering rake is different so it won't be as responsive. Also, unless the fairing is mounted to the frame, it adds a lot of weight to the front end and that affects handling also. I disagree with Witch Doctor about your butt-breaks: mine (also about every 50 miles) aren't necessarily related to the kind of bike but to the saddle, and the footpeg positioning. It's possible to find a more comfortable saddle for the L'il Suzy but moving the footpegs can be a pill. Witch Doctor says the bigger horsepower bikes have a lot more "get up 'n go" than the Savage but I have found the Savage to have plenty of that for me. The only advantage I would personally find to having a bigger bike is more room for saddlebags and the ability to tow a trailer; in short, a better long-distance ride.
